SFPS Announces Diverse Range of Summer Programs for 2024

The Santa Fe Public Schools (SFPS) has unveiled an extensive lineup of summer programs for 2024, catering to a wide range of interests and age groups. The programs, set to commence on various dates throughout the summer, offer educational and recreational opportunities for students in different locations across the district.

One of the highlighted programs is the "Rock Camp" taking place at ECRA, open to students in grades 6-8. The camp will run from June 3 to June 7, with a concert scheduled on June 7 at 12 PM. According to the announcement, the camp will provide a platform for young musicians to showcase their talent.

For those interested in dance, the SFPS Youth Dance League at Capital School offers a program from June 3 to June 28, Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. As stated, this camp is open to students in kindergarten through 6th grade.

Students looking to enhance their reading skills can participate in WG's Reading Adventures at Aspen School, running from June 10 to June 28, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 1:15 PM.

In addition, there are specialized camps like the "Spanish Splash- Immersion Into Spanish Culture And Language" at Aspen School, catering to students in grades 1-8. This program will run from June 6 to June 27, Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 3 PM.

Furthermore, SFPS is offering credit recovery programs for high school students, such as the "SFHS Credit Recovery" for grades 9-12. This program will run from June 3 to June 28, with an additional session from July 7 to July 19.

For sports enthusiasts, the El Dorado Basketball Camp for students in grades 6-8 will be held at El Dorado School from June 3 to June 28, Monday to Friday, from 1 PM to 5 PM.

Moreover, the Acequia Madre School will host various camps including the "Little Theater Musical And Performing Arts" camp and the "Garden Camp," catering to students from kindergarten to 6th grade.

These are just a few of the diverse programs being offered by SFPS for the summer of 2024. Parents and students are encouraged to explore the full range of options available and register for the programs that best suit their interests and schedules.
